Gmail and Yahoo sender requirements: SPF, DKIM, DMARC checklist
All senders
- SPF or DKIM passing
- Valid forward and reverse DNS (PTR) for sending IPs
- TLS for transmission
- Spam complaint rate under 0.3%, ideally under 0.1% (Google Postmaster Tools)
Bulk senders (about 5,000+ messages/day to Gmail)
- SPF and DKIM
- DMARC published, at least

- One-click unsubscribe (RFC 8058
List-Unsubscribe-Post) for marketing mail, with unsubscribes honoured within 2 days
