DMARC record generator (free)
Fill in the options to get a DMARC record you can paste into your DNS provider. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to us.
Your record
| Type | TXT |
|---|---|
| Host / Name | _dmarc |
| Value | |
Monitor with MailGuard. Reports sent to a rua= address arrive as compressed XML. MailGuard receives them for you and turns them into a dashboard and a weekly email ($7/domain/month, 14-day free trial). Use mailto:reports@reports.deadlinkpatrol.com as your rua address, then connect your domain.
Which policy should I start with?
Start with p=none and a rua= address, read the reports for 2–4 weeks, fix any legitimate sender that fails, then step up. See moving DMARC from p=none to p=reject.
One record only
A domain must have exactly one _dmarc TXT record. If you already have one, edit it rather than adding a second; with two, receivers ignore DMARC entirely.
After publishing
DNS changes can take minutes to hours. Then run the checker to confirm the record is live and parsed correctly.
