Multiple SPF records: how to merge them into one

A domain must publish exactly one TXT record starting with v=spf1. With two, receivers return permerror and SPF fails, even if each record is valid on its own. This usually happens when a new provider's setup guide says "add this SPF record".

Merging

Before (broken):
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
v=spf1 include:sendgrid.net ~all

After (one record):
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:sendgrid.net ~all

Keep one v=spf1 at the start and one all at the end, and put every mechanism in between. Then recheck the lookup count. Other TXT records (such as google-site-verification) are unaffected, because only v=spf1 records count.
