How to find your DKIM selector

DNS has no way to list DKIM selectors, so you need to know the name to look up the key.

1. Read an email header (most reliable)

Send yourself an email from the service, open "Show original" (Gmail) or "View source", and find the DKIM-Signature header. The s= value is the selector and d= is the domain.

2. Check the provider's dashboard

Every provider's DKIM setup page shows the record name, such as s1._domainkey.

3. Common defaults

ProviderSelector(s)
Google Workspacegoogle
Microsoft 365selector1, selector2
SendGrids1, s2
Mailchimpk1, k2, k3
Mandrillmandrill
Fastmailfm1, fm2, fm3
Protonprotonmail, protonmail2, protonmail3
Amazon SESrandom tokens
Postmarkdate-based, e.g. 20240101xxxxpm

The checker tries 20 common selectors automatically and also accepts a custom one.
